What is "Family Photography"?

So, what exactly is “Family Photography”?  Many of you hear that phrase and immediately envision a mom and a dad, together with a couple of small children in a stiff, unnatural pose with an old, outdated backdrop behind them.  Fortunately, that’s not the kind of photography we offer at Joyful Noise! 

To us, Family Photography is more than just the entire family together for a few photos.  Joyful Noise Family Photography is about capturing your families’ most memorable moments – whether that’s altogether as a family, or individually, or in the form of Senior Portraits for your son or daughter, or with the family pet (whom we all know is your favorite child, if for no other reason than the simple fact that it doesn’t talk back to you.)  Maybe it’s an engagement session for you and your husband-to-be or bridal portraits to be displayed at your wedding.  Perhaps it’s portraits of the newest member of your growing family, just weeks after being born.  It could be a celebration of your grandmother’s life & legacy in the form of 4 generations of ladies together for a long needed photo shoot.  Family photography at Joyful Noise is customized to suit your needs!  If your son is a member of a local band, or if you daughter is an aspiring model; if you want to have some more photos of your grandfather before you no longer can; if you want to celebrate your child’s graduation, or if you want to celebrate the birth of your first (or last) child - Joyful Noise Family Photography is for you.  No matter the occasion, if you are a part of a family, then Joyful Noise Photography can help you capture your life in photos.

Edits & Others

I have finally finished lightly editing all the beautiful pictures from last Saturday's Boudoir Day! I have gotten them all uploaded to each ladies respective proofing gallery, and I now get to sit down and relax while I wait for the ladies to pick which 10 photos they would like to purchase! I do not envy them, though! All of their photos came out so wonderfully, it is going to be very difficult for them to pick just 10 images! Which is why I offer additional images for just $5 each! 

Plus, I offer professional quality prints, photo books, cards, calendars, gallery wraps, and even framed prints! This way, the ladies don't have to take their images to walmart to print them, and have everyone and their dog look over their shoulder to see them!  This way, their images are kept private, just for that special someone, and they get professional quality prints, versus the wal-mart version of professional prints. 

So, while I wait for each lady to choose her photos, I am going to put together an Easter special, and maybe do a few FREE PHOTO SHOOTS!  I'm also going to put together some marketing materials and get a bit more organized! I might even do some spring cleaning!

Boudoir Day 3/3/12

Boudoir Day 2012 was a massive SUCCESS!!! I photographed 8 lovely ladies today, and had a complete blast while doing it!! This has to be one of the most satisfying photo shoots I have ever had the pleasure to take part in!

I have about 800 photos to go through and edit before posting them to a private gallery for each participant, so, needless to say, I have my work cut out for me.  But honestly, I am looking forward to editing these pictures and making them into pieces of art!

Boudoir Day 3/3/12

Boudoir Day is officially on! I have 9 ladies scheduled to have their photos taken on Saturday, March 3, 2012, and I am super excited about this photo shoot!  I have all sorts of ideas in my head, and I can hardly wait to try them all out on these lovely ladies!

Ladies! I am looking to book this Boudoir Day Photo Shoot for sometime in the next 8 weeks, so I need to know exactly how many of you are ready to book!  The session fee is $100.  You get 45-minutes of photo shooting time, hair and make-up done by a professional, an online proof gallery for selecting your final photographs, 10 fully edited photos on CD with re-print rights, plus the option to purchase prints, photo books, and more!

"Boudoir Day" and Last Minute Senior Portraits

I am looking into doing a "Boudoir Day" photo shoot.  This would be a 1-day photo shoot for women to have their portraits taken.  Each woman would get a 45-minute boudoir photo session, complete with professional make-up, an online proof album to select your final photos, a CD with up to 10 fully-edited photos with re-print rights, and the opportunity to purchase prints or other products.

Last Minute Senior Portraits
Also, I am now offering Last Minute Senior Portraits for those High School Seniors who like to procrastinate! This can be scheduled in either 1-hour or 2-hour sessions, and will include an online proof album for selecting final photos, up to 30 fully edited photos on CD with reprint rights, and the option to order prints or other print products.  The sessions are on-location, at up to 3 locations, and include travel up to 30 miles from Seguin or New Braunfels.  Sessions begin at just $50!
